Trying to capture a view of Snowdon from the train. Posted by Picasa

I must admit Martin did look better for wear than I did. Posted by Picasa

Ok confession time now. It took three hours to climb to the top of the mountain. I was absolutely knackered and I could not face the three hours climb down. We were wet and cold so we decided to get the train down. So half an hour later and 28 (in money) lighter we are on the train to Llanberis. I did exaggerate my face (Honest). Posted by Picasa

This is the view from the summit of Snowdon. I know that you can't see very much. But I had a reall sense of vertigo from here. I am standing 1085m above sea level. There was hardly any wind. I also believe it had stopped raining for the first time in about 2 hours. It took about three hours to climb to here. Posted by Picasa

The summit of Snowdon!!! Posted by Picasa

Now I am about 20 metres away from the summit. What is a blinking seagull doing here? The railway station is just behind me and I am about to walk to the top. Again not many photo's. Most of the ones I took are all blurred as my camera was so wet and I didn't have anything dry to clean the lens. Posted by Picasa

This is quite a bit further up the mountain. Sorry I didn't take photo's between this and the previous one. I was absolutely knackered and so so wet. Even though I was wearing waterproof clothing. There was lots of climbing to do with our hands again. A guy on his way down said it was only 15 mins to the top. Felt like another hour to me. Posted by Picasa

We almost took the wrong direction here. Thanks to these guys we didn't. Could have ended up in Scotland or something. THANKS GUYS!!! Posted by Picasa

This is how the view back down to Glaslyn Lake should look on a clear day. Posted by Picasa

Looking back down to Glaslyn Lake. We can hardly see more than 20 metres in the clouds. The climb to here was quite difficult and we had to actually climb with our hands for the first time. Posted by Picasa

This is Glaslyn Lake. This is about three quarters of the way up the mountain. From here it starts to get really tough. The path is quite difficult to see in places and it is getting steep. Posted by Picasa

Starting to go into the clouds now. Second lake is way below us. Posted by Picasa

Looking back down to the second lake. Things have started to get a bit harder. That path was really steep! Posted by Picasa

Causeway across the second lake. Posted by Picasa

You can see the old copper mine. Posted by Picasa

The second lake. About 3 quarters of an hour in. You can see the cloud level from here. Posted by Picasa

The first lake we came across. This was about half an hour of walking. Posted by Picasa

Looks so easy so far! Posted by Picasa

The start of the walk. Posted by Picasa
